About Me
I was born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico. I’ve loved the southwest from an early age including the people and culture and the natural beauty of this place. I grew up in a small town where most of the health care was under resourced care to an underserved population. I witnessed the importance of medicine and trustworthy caretakers in these communities and saw the fulfillment this brought to many in my community and was drawn to medicine for this reason. I ended up going to the University of New Mexico for undergrad and medical school, and in doing so became increasingly interested in a career to help those in rural areas similar to the place I grew up and call home.
