    I grew up in Charleston, SC and studied Biology at College of Charleston before attending medical school at University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville.

    Interests & Hobbies

    I enjoy hiking and gardening. If given the chance to travel anywhere in the world, it would be to New Zealand.

    Why Utah?

    While I had never been to Utah before my interview day, I quickly felt at home in Salt Lake City and at the University of Utah. The faculty and residents were welcoming and passionate about their work, but also had interesting hobbies outside of work and shared my appreciation for the mountains. I love the balance that Salt Lake City provides – with plenty of city activities as well as the ability to drive for 20 minutes and be in the wilderness hiking a trail with no one else in sight.
