I grew up in Green Bay, WI and studied Biology, Society, Environment at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities before attending medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin.
Interests & Hobbies
Playing guitar (I’ve been known to do an open mic night from time to time), going to concerts, rock climbing, hiking, camping, biking, and disc golf. If given the chance to travel anywhere in the world, it would be to Peru.
Why Utah?
My interview was my first time in SLC and I was amazed. The people inside the hospital, program, and city were all very friendly and laid back. The campus was beautiful and it was great to see a stand-alone children's hospital directly adjacent to the adult university hospital. I also liked that I would be able to have the large referral center/academic setting to pursue my goals in med-ed while also having many recreational opportunities nearby to balance out my life. To top it off, I was able to do a quick hike (Living Room trail) right behind the campus after my interview! Looking forward to the learning and adventures that lie ahead!
