About Me
Adriana is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work at the University of Utah with an emphasis in health. She earned a BA in public relations from Brigham Young University and an MA in Comparative Studies with a focus on trauma and memory studies, also from Brigham Young University. Looking for a way to apply her research to help others led Adriana to social work with the goal of becoming a therapist. She spent one year as an intern at the SUPeRAD clinic and now works as a research assistant on the HOPE study. She is passionate about the link between mental and physical health and making mental health care more accessible. When she’s not working, Adriana enjoys walking, tennis, reading, chatting about reality tv, and spending time with her family.
