Dr. Cheung is a Professor of Medicine, Chief of Division of Nephrology & Hypertension and Executive Director of the Dialysis Program at the University of Utah Hospital & Clinics. He holds the inaugural Dialysis Research Foundation endowed chair. Dr. Cheung received his M.D. degree from Albany Medical College in New York. He completed his Nephrology fellowship training from the University of California at San Diego. He is a translational laboratory and clinical investigator in the areas of chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis and hypertension and receives his research funding primarily from the NIH.
