Amira Trevino is a Graduate Research Assistant for the TORCH lab, located in the University of Utah’s School of Medicine, Division of Epidemiology at Salt Lake City, Utah. Amira holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Development, and is working on a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Prior to joining the TORCH team, Amira coordinated and supported projects on suicide prevention for Veterans. Her research interests include addressing mental health disparities and improving services for underrepresented populations who have experienced trauma.
