Erica was raised in Ann Arbor, MI where she stayed locally to attend college and medical school at the University of Michigan. She went on to complete residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Since 2020 she has been practicing as a rheumatologist seeing patients in the hospital and clinic for Intermountain Medical Center while serving in a dual role as one of the Associate Program Directors for the University of Utah’s Internal Medicine Residency program for residents rotating through the Intermountain system. She has special interests in medical education, mentorship, caring for hospitalized patients with rheumatic conditions, and improving care for women around child-bearing ages. When not working she enjoy spending time in the mountains, playing beach volleyball, baking pies, and chasing around her very active children.
