Marcie received her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Education at the University of Utah in 2013. She has worked in health care for 15 years, the last 5 of which have been spent in research. Most recently coming from Huntsman Cancer Institute, coordinating on the BEAT AML investigational drug trial. During undergrad she spent a lot of my time volunteering for underserved populations, with the Utah Health and Human Rights (UHHR) organization and Planned Parenthood teaching sexual education to women incarcerated. Marcie is very excited to join the PARCKA team as Clinical Research Coordinator and is looking forward to working in women’s health and substance use research. She spends most of her free time adventuring with her husband, their twin girls and soon to be baby boy. She loves to travel and can’t wait to show her kids this beautiful world.
