Nina Dalley earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree (Cum Laude) and is currently in the Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program here at the University of Utah. She attained her Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor Certification (ASUDC) through the University as well. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work and the Mortar Board Honor Society. She is currently certifying in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and pursuing a Women’s Health Certificate in conjunction with her master’s program. Nina’s research interests are centered on clinical behavioral health services research. Her area of interest lies with substance use disorder treatment that co-occurs with various mental health disorders, compound trauma and/or PTSD. She is engaged in advocating for harm reduction strategies and reducing the stigma that surrounds substance use and mental health disorders.
