Dr. Weston Truman was born in Houston, Texas, however, mainly grew up and completed his education in Denver, Colorado. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology with minors in Psychology and Astrophysics at the University of Colorado Denver. He attended medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His interest in Infectious Disease began in college and medical school and continued throughout residency. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the MountainView Hospital Sunrise Health GME Consortium in Las Vegas, Nevada. He then moved to Utah to complete his fellowship in Infectious Disease. His areas of interest include Travel ID medicine, Orthopedic infections, HIV, and Immunocompromised hosts. When outside the hospital he enjoys traveling, hiking various mountains, skiing, playing guitar, and watching various sports including soccer, football, and ice hockey.
