Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship Precepting
Volunteer to become a preceptor in a Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC). An LIC is a clinical teaching model shown to improve clinical learning model that replaces traditional block rotations. Intermountain Health Population Health Student Scholars Program
The population health scholar program has many ways to get involved including clinical teaching, population health seminars, and participating as a mentor for a student in the program.
Regional Affairs & Rural and Underserved Utah Training Experience (RUUTE)
RUUTE and Regional Affairs offers ample opportunity for providers to get involved with the program through one-hour presentations with students (Rural Speaker Series), hosting a student in their community as part of a Community Engagement Experience, to year long clinical experiences via Longitudinal Integrated Clerkships (LICs). Tribal, Rural, and Underserved Program (TRUE)
The Tribal Rural Underserved Medical Education (TRUE) Graduate Certificate and Rural Primary Care Track (RPCT) prepare and encourage medical students to seek careers serving tribal, rural, and urban underserved communities. We aim to develop the knowledge and skills to promote health equity. We aspire to build collaborative, reciprocal, mutually beneficial relationships with TRU health care professionals and health systems to expand clinical and community engagement opportunities for our students.
