Photobiomodulation: A Long-Term Study

This project explores the long-term effects of Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy, also called red-light therapy, in relation to this population.

Intimate Partner Violence and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

This research study examines the cognitive, psychological, and neurological outcomes associated with head trauma in women who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV).

Post-Traumatic Epilepsy in Veterans

The purpose of the study is to better understand the relationship between epilepsy and mild traumatic brain injury in post-9/11 Veterans.

Moderate/Severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Accelerated Aging

This study examines how a history of mod-severe TBI impacts aging and general health in later life.

Increased Neuroinflammation after Exposure to Repetitive Blast

The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of blast-related traumatic brain injury (TBI). This study examines if neuroinflammation is elevated in veterans with TBI and a history of blast exposure by comparing MRI scans and biomarkers of inflammation between veterans with clinically symptomatic TBI and a healthy control group.

Clinical Health Imaging Portability Standards (CHIPS): Stability Across Scanner Models and Sites

This study aims to improve the accuracy of MRI measurement by creating and testing devices (called phantoms) that mimic neural tissue and pathways. By scanning phantoms at multiple locations, we can create a more efficient way of gathering consistent imaging data for a patient regardless of the scanner used.
