Educational Curriculum

Our residents take part in a comprehensive educational program that includes daily didactics, monthly journal clubs, and interactive bedside teaching rounds. Our Chief of Education, in conjunction with our Associate Program Director (APD), created the didactic outline for the year. Each of our 10 subspecialty divisions has an elected Division Champion who works hand-in-hand with our Education Chief and APD on curriculum development.

Noon Conferences

The curriculum is established by our education chief and program directors in collaboration with our subspecialty divisions and is revised on a yearly basis. The conferences include didactic lectures spanning all subspecialties, anatomy reviews, case discussions, education or communication topics, as well as involvement, development, equal access, and eadership (IDEAL) curriculum. The lectures are led by teaching faculty or residents. (Lunch is provided.)

  • In person and virtual (Zoom); all noon conferences are recorded and accessible for review

Grand Rounds

Departmental educational meetings with local or national speakers in Neurology and other subspecialties.  Also included is a monthly morbidity and mortality (M&M) conference.

Professor Rounds
