Diversity Lounge
Our Diversity Lounge in Building 379 is open to all students and provides a safe space to rest or study in-between classes on campus. With so many wonderful educational resources and opportunities for students, this lounge serves as a calming social space to:
- Sign up for our Monthly Newsletter to receive EDI program updates
- Access printing services, pick up a rainbow U or pronoun pin
- Host group meetings or individual study time
- Relax and get creative with our giant coloring sheet
- Drop buy on a busy day to recharge with some snacks, water, or coffee
Diversity Lounge Hours
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
Saturday-Sunday: Closed to public, open to School of Medicine uID card holders
Quick Note: Our Diversity Lounge is accessible 24/7 to all School of Medicine uID card holders.
Call for Art!
The goal of our Diversity Lounge is to cultivate a safe and empowering space for students, staff, faculty, and trainees. With the construction of the new Medical School building, we are actively looking for art that is representative of our community! This could include any media from digital prints, to sculptures, canvas painting, ceramics, etc. (the possibilities are endless!)
