Requirements
Prerequisite for admission includes a Ph.D. in immunology or related degree or a medical degree (M.D.) or equivalent with residency in internal medicine, pediatrics, or at least two years of research experience in immunology.
CPEP requires that applicants for its accredited program complete the ASM online application form and pay a $100 fee. Only applications submitted via ASM will be considered for this position.
J-1 Visa
The J-1 visa is the required visa for international trainees. This policy applies to all Department of Pathology fellowships, regardless of program accreditation or associated degree (MD/PhD). For those currently in the US who intend to transfer their J-1 visa, it is the applicant’s responsibility to confirm that there is enough time remaining on their visa to accommodate the full duration of the fellowship program.
