John Carey Foundation Series
The John Carey Foundation Series provides a weekly discussion on foundational topics for academics in the Department of Pediatrics. These presentations are targeted at new and junior faculty, but all faculty are welcome and encouraged to attend. Larger events targeted at Faculty are quarterly
- Thursdays from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, held October 5th - June 6th (except 2nd Thursday of the month during Schwartz Rounds)
- All JCFS events are held at the HELIX Building, 1st Floor Beech Conference Room (Northeast side of floor)
- 4 longer quarterly events specifically for faculty, including the Faculty Kick Off on September 28 from 2:30-4:30pm as well as others held Thursdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm, on 12/14/23, 3/21/24, 6/6/24
- CME Accredited Series - 1.0 Credits per session
- Lunch and snacks will be provided
*Please note there will be no John Carey lectures on the weeks which conflict with Schwartz Rounds the same hour, typically the 2nd Thursday of each month
