Tuberous Sclerosis (TS)
Tuberous Sclerosis (TS) is a complex genetic disease that can affect many organs in the body.
The Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic at the University of Utah and Department of Pediatrics combines the expertise of pediatric neurologists and geneticists for diagnosis and therapy. Expanded and long-term care includes the specialties of nephrology, dermatology, opthalmology, cardiology, and neurosurgery. Many of the complications of tuberous sclerosis can be treated but early identification is essential. We provide care for those affected by Tuberous Sclerosis, and help meet the needs since Tuberous Sclerosis can affect the entire family.
Drs. Francis Filloux and David Viskochil are the co-directors of the clinic.
