What We Do
The Academic Success Program is a team of educational professionals that provides a targeted and comprehensive suite of programs and strategies geared to foster academic success. Through effectively improving study skills, students working with ASP develop the ability to:

- organize,
- integrate, and
- apply information…
… all while successfully balancing their professional and personal responsibilities.
The Academic Success Program is committed to supporting University of Utah medical students through tutoring services, academic workshops, and learning resources.
Resources
ASP provides a number of resources to make sure medical students are as successful as they can be during medical school.
We provide:
- academic counseling,
- tutoring (including one-on-one, phone, and online/virtual),
- workshops,
- NBME practice vouchers
- resources to report discrimination and harassment against MD students, and
- help for current MD students preparing for their board examinations.
