Most looking forward to: Becoming an expert in regional and acute pain medicine. Growing into my role as an attending anesthesiologist.

Interests: Long-distance hiking, hunting down hole-in-the-wall restaurants, farmers markets, traveling without an itinerary, skiing, scuba diving, movies with big twists, and dystopian novels.

Why the U? A comprehensive pain medicine fellowship with exposure to advanced interventional procedures and complex cancer pain through the Huntsman Cancer Institute — plus a collaborative, supportive culture. Training in the Mountain West also means access to the mountains and proximity to my family in Colorado.

Most looking forward to: Working at the Huntsman Cancer Institute to deepen my knowledge of cancer pain management, and hopefully collaborating with the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine to learn how a successful integrative care model is built and sustained.

Interests: Road and mountain running, playing with our two golden doodles, spending time with my family and brand new niece, traveling with my fiance to new parts of the mountain west!

Why the U? A great balance of incredible teachers and mentorship as well as the proximity to all the fun things I love to go outside!

Most looking forward to: I'm looking forward to seeing how my growing regional skillset will shape my practice as a generalist. I’m also excited to become a part of a new team and learn alongside my co-fellow.
