Education Team Shines at SEA Spring Meeting in Philadelphia

This April, three members of the Department's education team attended the Society for Education in Anesthesia's (SEA) Spring Meeting in Philadelphia, PA!

Dr. Steve Sams presented his poster, "BASIC Exam Boot Camp Lecture Series," which provided information on improving passing rates for CA1 Anesthesiology residents at the University of Utah. Dr. Michelle Curtis and Dr. Rachel Danowit attended in support, and everyone enjoyed sightseeing and learning about the latest updates and strategies in anesthesia education.

The SEA Annual Meeting is held to educate and share information that enables anesthesia educators to provide the highest level of education and improve patient outcomes. Attendees acquire skills to become more effective educators of medical students and resident physicians and develop the ability to produce graduates who meet the diverse expectations of various educational stakeholders.
