The start of July marks a major milestone for our newest group of anesthesiology residents—welcome to the Class of 2028 CA-1s!
Orientation is underway, and our incoming residents are already diving into the essentials of clinical practice and patient care. This transition is more than just learning new protocols—it’s about joining a community of peers and mentors committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and continued growth.
To help ease the transition, our department provided each new resident with a set of essentials: MacBook Air laptops, iPhone 15s, embroidered scrub caps, and textbooks they’ll rely on throughout training. They also had their official portraits taken to capture the start of this exciting journey.
