- Bariatric surgeons
- In addition, the fellow will have rotations with allied health professionals who specialize in different areas of obesity management such as registered dieticians, exercise physiologists, and psychologists. The fellow will also have the option to take a culinary medicine class at the UUSOM.
The fellow will have a total of 8 clinical sessions per week, each session will be an average of 4 hours. Two sessions of the week will include didactics with the endocrine fellows, as well as research conferences and time to work on Q/I and research projects. There will be light inpatient rotations with the diabetes care team and for nutritional consults. In addition, the fellow will be expected to attend a virtual monthly Obesity Medicine Fellowship Council lecture from experts from around the country on topics related to the obesity treatment and nutrition.
