Career and Fellowship Match

Board Pass Rate

We have had a 100% board pass rate for 5 out of the 7 last years; placing us as a top-performing program in the country. This speaks to the strength of our educational curriculum, medical training, and high-quality residents. To assist our residents in their preparation, we administer an In Training Exam annually to all residents. In addition, we provide MKSAP 19 to help our residents prepare for ITE exams and the ABIM board exam.

Historically, 20-30% of our residents enter practice directly after graduation. We’ve trained a mix of hospitalists and general internists; private practitioners and academic faculty; and physicians that practice in nearly all parts of the country.

Each year, the remaining 70-80% of our residents chose to pursue fellowship training. We are proud of the competitive fellowship positions that our graduates secure in our own institution and across the country, which reflects the rigor of our training environment and our mentorship and research support.
