Career and Fellowship Match
Board Pass Rate
The accumulative board pass rate for the past three years is 98%; placing us among the top-performing programs in the country. This speaks to the strength of our educational curriculum, medical training, and high-quality residents. To assist our residents in their preparation, we administer an In Training Exam annually to all residents. In addition, we provide MKSAP 19 to help our residents prepare for ITE exams and the ABIM board exam.
Practice
Historically, 20-30% of our residents enter practice directly after graduation. We’ve trained a mix of hospitalists and general internists; private practitioners and academic faculty; and physicians that practice in nearly all parts of the country.
Fellowship
Each year, the remaining 70-80% of our residents chose to pursue fellowship training. We are proud of the competitive fellowship positions that our graduates secure in our own institution and across the country, which reflects the rigor of our training environment and our mentorship and research support.
