Dr. Chopra is a Pain Medicine specialist. He did his Residency in Anesthesia and Critical Care, Fellowship in Pain Medicine – all from Harvard Medical School.  Currently an Assistant Professor (Clinical) at Brown Medical School and works full time as a Pain Medicine specialist.  He has a special interest in chronic complex pain conditions and their associated co-existing conditions. He has several publications to his credit and is on the editorial board for a journal on pain. 

Christopher Harper is owner of Active Lifestyles Physical Therapy, a private practice outpatient clinic in Draper, Utah. After graduating Bouvé College of Health Science Physical Therapy program at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1993, Chris attended the University of Utah and obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Board Certification in Orthopedics shortly thereafter. He developed an interest in the multidisciplinary treatment of POTS through his endeavors to optimize intervention from a physical therapy perspective. Chris continues to strive for improvement of intervention strategies and outcomes for patients with POTS and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. With quality patient care and education at the core of his practice, Chris guides individuals in long-term management and returning to the activities they love.

Satish R Raj MD MSCI is a Canadian Heart Rhythm Cardiologist. He spent 12 years working at the Vanderbilt Autonomic Dysfunction Center in Nashville, TN. He has now moved back to the University of Calgary in Canada and he has founded the Calgary Autonomic Investigation & Management Clinic.  He is currently Professor of Cardiac Science at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute and the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine.

His primary research interests relate to understanding and better treating postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and vasovagal syncope.

Dr. Raj also serves as a Medical Advisor to many POTS patient groups, including POTS UK, and Dysautonomia International.

Dr. Sandroni obtained her MD degree from the University of Milan, Italy, summa cum laude. She accepted a position to work in Somalia for 1 year on a project sponsored by the European Union before moving to the US, where she worked as research fellow in the autonomic laboratory at Mayo Clinic Rochester for 1 year. She then moved to the University of California Irvine. There she spent 3 years working on neurophysiology of mental processing as well as movement disorders. With this work, she completed her PhD degree in neuroscience. After obtaining her US licensure, she returned to Mayo Clinic to complete her Neurology residency, followed by 1 year fellowship in peripheral nerve disorders and 6 months as Mayo Scholar at UCSF to perfect her pain management skills. She joined the Mayo Clinic staff where she is Professor of Neurology, practice chair of neurology, chair of the autonomic division and director of the autonomic fellowship. Her expertise is in autonomic disorders, neuromuscular disorders and pain. She is actively involved in research, education as well as clinical practice. She has published over 120 articles, a book and book chapters, and lectures often both in the national and international arena. Her interest in global medicine brings her yearly to Africa where she is involved in educational projects.
