Eligibility
Prior to entering the addiction psychiatry program, applicants must be board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
Applicants must also comply with the eligibility requirements outlined by the Office of Graduate Medical Education.
How To Apply
- Beginning June 1, 2021, applications for the University of Utah's Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship will only be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
- Review the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Application Process and begin the process of submitting the requested materials through ERAS.
- Once we have received your application materials, we will make the decision about scheduling an interview, and contact you through the ERAS system.

ACGME also asks that US programs notify applicants of the length of the program. Addiction psychiatry programs require 12 months of training.
