Jacob Ambrose, MS

Biostatistician II

Jacob is a biostatistician at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. He completed his BA in Mathematics at Bethany Lutheran College and MS in Applied Statistics at Minnesota State University-Mankato. Jacob is interested in applying biostatistics to resolve questions in research involving cancer, healthcare economics, and population science.

Joemy Ramsay is an Environmental and Occupational Health scientist who received her Masters from the University Of Washington School Of Public Health and her PhD in Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Utah. Joemy has previously worked on studies looking at environmental, biological, and social determinants of childhood health and development, diesel exhaust exposure in underground miners, and biological monitoring of occupational and environmental exposures. Her research interests include understanding of long-term health risks for cancer survivors and potential associations between occupational and environmental exposures with cancer outcomes and survivorship.

Nathan is a postdoctoral research associate in the Camp and Hanson labs. He finished his MS and PhD in anthropological genetics at the University of Utah. His past research projects in anthropology centered around natural selection in the human genome and introgression of archaic hominins. His current research interests include patterns of multiple cancer types within families and developing genomic profiles for cancer susceptibility.
