Moriel Zelikowsky Award

Moriel Zelikowsky has been selected for a Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship Award in the Neurosciences for her project “Neural circuits at the intersection of stress and aggression”.

Moriel is the first recipient of this award from the University of Utah School of Medicine.

From the Klingenstein Foundation website:

The awards are among the nation’s oldest and most illustrious fellowships for young investigators in neuroscience research.

"Aimed at advancing cutting-edge investigations, the awards are presented to highly promising, early-career scientists."

"The Klingenstein-Simons Fellowship Awards in Neuroscience supports, in the early stages of their careers, young investigators engaged in basic or clinical research that may lead to a better understanding of neurological and psychiatric disorders.
