University Orthopaedic Center Welcomes Brian Foster, MD, to the Team of Expert Surgeons

The University of Utah Orthopaedic Center is excited to announce the addition of Brian Foster, MD, to our esteemed team of orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Foster is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. 

He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the center, having completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center and a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Foster has a particular interest in treating complex conditions of the elbow, including:

  • Elbow arthritis
  • Elbow fractures
  • Elbow instability or ligament injuries
  • Elbow tendinitis and tendon tears
  • Pain after prior elbow surgery

In addition to his focus on elbow conditions, Dr. Foster offers comprehensive care for a wide range of hand and upper extremity issues, such as:

Dr. Foster will practice at the University Orthopaedic Center, University Hospital, Greenwood Health Center, and Primary Children’s Hospital, both the Salt Lake and Lehi locations and is now accepting new patients.
