The Department of Pathology welcomes Lacy Moss to the University of Utah. Professor Moss joined the Division of Medical Laboratory Sciences last August and holds the rank of Assistant Professor (Lecturer).
Professor Moss, who specializes in clinical chemistry, comes to the MLS program from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She holds a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
She fell in love with teaching at Buffalo, where she moved for her husband’s residency; once his residency had been completed, the family decided to move to Utah. Professor Moss is very excited to join the faculty in the Division of Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Professor Moss has two young children who keep her busy when not teaching, and she loves to sew and crochet. She picked up the habit of cookie decorating during the COVID pandemic, along with catching up on her favorite Netflix shows.
