The University of Utah Pathology Residency Training Program proudly announces the Chief Residents for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. Dr. Nicole Leonard will be the Anatomic Pathology Chief Resident, and Dr. Tori Seasor will serve as Clinical Pathology Chief Resident. They are both excellent residents and will do a great job in this leadership role.
We would like to thank the outgoing Chief Residents, Dr. Eric Goold and Dr. Nicole Stivers. They have done an incredible amount of work this year and have been great to work with.
The Department of Pathology at the University of Utah offers postgraduate training in the following tracks:
- Combined Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
- Anatomic Pathology Only (AP-Only)
- Clinical Pathology Only (CP-Only)
- Combined Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology (AP/NP)
- Physician-Scientist Research Pathway
The Physician-Scientist Track is intended for MD, Ph.D. applicants aspiring to a physician-scientist career. The track is recognized by the American Board of Pathology, offers flexible training in any of our residency tracks, and includes one funded dedicated year of research in addition to the clinical training with additional years if grant funding is obtained.
