Professional Experience
Research Projects
- My research is focused on clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics in neonatology and obstetrics. Of special interest is the influence of growth and development of often used medication on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in newborns, children and infants. Additionally, my research includes the clinical pharmacology of medications during pregnancy and lactation.
Medical Areas of Interest
Research: My current research involves applying the pharmacometric methodology in the setting of pediatrics. Current projects: Histamine pharmacodynamics, morphine concentration-response relationship, sirolumus pharmacokinetics (in adults and pediatrics) and vancomycin pharmacokinetics in pediatric oncology patients. My research interests include dose optimization using Bayesian Forecasting.
Work Experience:
- 2015-2016 - Research Asisstant UNSW and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney
Educational Background:
I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at UNSW Australia. My doctoral thesis was supervised my Professors Richard Day, Kenneth Williams and Carl Kirkpatrick. I was mentored by Professor Garry Graham. The title of my doctoral thesis was “Exploring the value of population pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modelling: in infectious disease, cancer and diabetes.”

Professional Experience
Research Projects
- My current research involves population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PKPD) analyses of drugs in clinical studies. My current therapeutic area focus include immunosuppressants, antihistamines, hormones, and therapeutic proteins. I also have expertise in semi-mechanistic and PBPK modeling. I grew interest in pharmacometric approaches to track disease progression and to analyze dose-exposure-response of drugs in fostering regulatory decision-making.
