The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology provides consultation and management of patients with allergic disorders: Adult and pediatric, immune deficiencies, and immune-mediated diseases – particularly childhood rheumatic diseases.

Specialty Clinics
Our current specialty clinics are as follows:
Primary Immune Deficiency Disorders – are held at Primary Children's Hospital campuses – for children and adolescents with known or suspected immune deficiency diseases. We are an active participant in USIDNet, a national database of primary immune deficiency disorders.
Pediatric Rheumatology - are held at Primary Children's Hospital campuses – for children and adolescents with a variety of immune mediated diseases, including:
- Juvenile arthritis
- Systemic lupus erythematosus
- Dermatomyositis
- Scleroderma
- Morphea
- Eosinophilic fasciitis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Vasculitis
- Periodic fever syndromes
- Rare autoimmune diseases affecting other organ systems (e.g., opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome, and IPEX syndrome).
The high number of patients we see in each of our clinics allows us to conduct clinical research focusing on process improvement, with the overall goal of optimizing care for our patients and families.
