The 5th annual university-wide Mental Health, Brain, and Behavioral Health Research Day brings together faculty, students, staff, and industry partners from across the University of Utah and beyond to share innovative research and spark new collaborations. This full-day event showcases advances in mental health, brain science, and behavioral health through expert presentations, poster sessions, and roundtable discussions.

Poster Session

Poster presenters who wish to compete must submit their poster by August 28, 2026 11:59 MST. 
The deadline for presentation-only (non-competitive) poster submissions is September 18, 2026 11:59 MST. 
Competing posters will be judged by category, with winners recognized and awarded a prize during the closing ceremony at the conclusion of the event. Previously presented posters are welcome.

Awards for posters will be given for best posters in five categories:

  1. High School / Undergraduate Students 
  2. Graduate / Medical Students
  3. Postdocs / Residents / Fellows 
  4. Junior Faculty
  5. Other Researcher (Staff, Volunteer, Affiliate, etc)
