This premier week-long event is designed for anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesia assistants, fellows, residents, and medical students seeking a comprehensive review of current advances in the field. - Where is the conference located?
Westgate Park City Resort and Spa (3000 Canyons Resort Dr., Park City, UT 84094) — with ski-in/ski-out access and family-friendly amenities. - Do you offer CME and AANA credit?
Yes. In prior years, the conference offered up to 22.75 credits. Updated credit totals will be posted to the Program page once approved. - What are the daily session times?
Morning sessions run from 7–9 AM and afternoon sessions from 4–7 PM—perfect for enjoying the slopes mid-day. - What does registration include?
Full registration includes all lectures, Q&A sessions, breakfast, après-ski meals, and the Sunday Super Bowl Social. Per-day registration includes access and meals for that day only. Workshops are $75 each. - What do the optional workshops include?
Led by expert faculty from the University of Utah, these hands-on sessions provide guided instruction using live models or manikins. Topics include pEEG, regional anesthesia, TTE, and emergency airway techniques. - Is there a dress code?
No. Most attendees wear mountain casual or ski gear to the morning sessions.
- Is there a room block at the resort?
Yes! Book through our discounted room block at Westgate Park City. Each room includes a kitchenette and sleeps 4–8 guests depending on type. - Is shuttle service available from the airport?
No hotel shuttle is provided. Uber/Lyft and private shuttles like Canyon Transport, My Shuttle, and Shuttle Park City are recommended from SLC Airport (~40 min). - What about parking?
Guests staying at the resort receive a parking permit. Limited non-guest parking is available. Free overflow parking is available at the Cabriolet lift with gondola access to the hotel.
- I have dietary restrictions—what should I do?
Please email Amber Dinneen at anesthesia.postgrad@hsc.utah.edu prior to the event. - Can my family or friends join me for meals?
Yes! Guest meal tickets are available through the registration page, including single-meal and full-conference options.
- What ski lift ticket should I buy?
Purchase an Epic Pass for access to Park City Mountain (Canyons + Mountain Village). We do not sell tickets onsite. Buy early—prices increase and may sell out. - Are there other ski resorts nearby?
Yes! Nearby resorts include Deer Valley, Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, Solitude, Snowbasin, and Powder Mountain—all within driving distance. - What if I don’t ski?
There’s still plenty to do! Ride the Alpine Coaster, book a sleigh or snowmobile tour, relax at local spas, or explore Canyons Village and Historic Main Street for shopping and dining.
