How to Apply

Application deadline is August 31. This is a 12 month fellowship which starts August 1 and ends July 31.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS

 

REQUIRED:

  • Current CV

REQUIRED:

  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency program

REQUIRED:

  • Personal statement

REQUIRED:

  • USMLE, COMLEX

REQUIRED:

  • Dean's letter / Medical School MSPE

REQUIRED:

  • ECFMG Certificate required for International Medical School graduates in addition to the other items.

REQUIRED:

  • Three letters of recommendation, one must be from a residency program director

REQUIRED:

  • Applicants must be legally able to work in the U.S., or able to obtain a work authorization

ACCEPTANCE

If accepted, resident will work with the Fellowship Program Coordinator to complete the following at least 2 months before start date:

  • UUH background check/drug screening
  • UUH online trainings
  • UUH "Visiting Trainee Packet" must be completed at least 30 days prior to rotation.
  • UUH fully signed PLA (UUH will only accept visiting trainees from institutions that agree to use the AAMC editable terms and conditions template for the PLA).
  • Liability insurance for visiting trainees must be provided by the visiting trainee's home institution or by the visiting trainee. Liability insurance is not provided by UUH or its affiliated training sites.
