Advanced Practice Clinician Fellows

Cassandra Pedigo, APRN, FNP-C
Is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with focused training in dermatology. She is currently completing an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship in general dermatology and Mohs surgery with the University of Utah Dermatology Department.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carroll University in Wisconsin and completed graduate training as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Westminster University, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. She brings over a decade of nursing experience to her practice, including float pool nursing across diverse inpatient settings. Since 2022, she has supported the University of Utah Mohs surgery team, as well as general dermatology and rapid access clinics, building a strong foundation in dermatologic care and individualized patient management. 
Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys spending time in the mountains, where she can often be found backpacking or skiing.

Ally Roberts, APC

Is a board-certified physician assistant who provides comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care. Ally earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed her graduate training at the Duke University School of Medicine. She is currently completing the Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship at the University of Utah, where she is receiving advanced training across a broad range of dermatologic subspecialties, including pediatric, oncologic, autoimmune, dermatopathology, inpatient, and cosmetic dermatology.

She enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and creating a collaborative, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and supported. Outside of the clinic, Ally enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to helping patients achieve their healthiest skin.

Paula Wernli, APC

Is a physician assistant practicing general dermatology, caring for patients with a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, and skin cancer. She is passionate about helping patients understand their conditions and feel confident in their care. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful, evidence-based treatment and improving outcomes through education and longitudinal management.
