Commuting to Work
If you bike to work, you are encouraged to register your bike with the University Police and review Utah Bicycle Laws. The Campus Bike Shop offers repair and maintenance on campus. Bike racks are readily available throughout campus, or you can select locations from this map for contact information for renting a bike locker. The A. Ray Olpin University Union Service Desk has bike locks and helmets available for purchase.
Your UCard functions as a pass for the majority of Utah Transit Authority services. The free campus shuttles have regular routes around campus. You may also request a SafeRide on campus on weeknights if you do not feel safe walking at night.
If you park on campus or in Research Park, you will need a parking permit. Your division administrator will provide you with information about your parking permit and location options and you can review campus parking maps. You can call commuter services at 801-581-6415 to set up payroll deduction for a permit or set it up online.
If you will be traveling on University business, please review the travel policy to learn more about reimbursable costs.
