Physicians and scientists in the University of Utah Division of Pediatric Cardiology, in cooperation with Primary Children's Hospital, work to improve cardiac treatments through all types of research, including clinical trials, offer consultations, and condition management for children with all forms of heart disease.
Multiple investigative and treatment techniques are available including full cardiac catheterization facilities, two-dimensional Doppler, and color flow echocardiography, Holter monitoring, magnetic resonance imaging, pacemaker follow-up, invasive and non-invasive electrophysiology and other investigative and treatment techniques are all available. Cardiovascular surgery, including transplantation, is also available for all types of congenital and acquired heart disease.
Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
The Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship provides full and comprehensive services for complex congenital and acquired heart disease, including outpatient and inpatient evaluation and management, affiliation with a strong pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, interventional and diagnostic catheterization, cardiac transplantation, ventricular assist device and ECMO management, extensive non-invasive diagnostic imaging, and invasive and noninvasive electrophysiology.
