Resident Socials

Applicants who are invited to interview will receive an email invitation to our virtual resident socials, which will be held on the Sunday before the scheduled interview date. During these socials, they will have the opportunity to meet current residents, learn about living in Utah, discover more about learning and working in our program, and gather lots of other insightful tidbits.

The dates of our 2024 virtual resident socials have not been set yet more information to come. It's a wonderful opportunity for invited applicants to engage with some of our current residents.

Virtual Meet & Greet

Join us for an informal Q&A session with a quick introduction from our Program Directors and our current residents and to hear about our DR and IR/DR residency programs and all about life in Utah!

Inclusion Days

Institute Wide Resident-Led Inclusion Days

These are sponsored by the University of Utah Office for Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and Graduate Medical Education to recruit and welcome residents from underrepresented/historically excluded groups in Utah. All interested applicants and trainees are welcome to attend the events. A panel of diverse trainees will speak about their experience coming to and being in Utah.

Sponsored by the University of Utah Graduate Medical Education Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-racism Leadership Strategy (IDEALS) Committee Learn about our commitment to recruit and welcome trainees from historically underrepresented groups in Utah with our dedicated faculty within the University Health Systems. All interested applicants and trainees are welcome to attend the events. A panel of diverse faculty will speak about their experience coming to and being in Utah.
