SUMMER UROLOGY RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP
The Division of Urology is excited to offer a 2-month research scholarship for summer of 2024. The scholarship will teach research fundamentals, including: data management, overview of statistical analysis, project management, and technical writing. Scholars will be mentored by a primary faculty mentor in Reconstructive Urology, Men’s Health, Andrology & Infertility, or Urologic Oncology depending upon the research scholar’s interest. Additional mentorship will be provided by PhD medical epidemiologists and statisticians.
Scholars will be assigned a primary project depending upon their interest and available projects. The primary project will be designed to have achievable goals during the 2-month research time. Scholars will attend weekly research meetings and regular meetings with their research mentors.
DURATION: 2-months, start and end times are negotiable
STIPEND: $5,000 to support housing and expenses in Salt Lake City during the fellowship
QUALIFICATIONS: Medical students matriculating into years 2-4
