We participate in the Gastroenterology Fellowship Match through the National Residency Matching Program (www.nrmp.org).We are a July cycle program.

Applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applicants may begin applying to our Program starting on July 3, 2024, for positions beginning on July 1, 2025. 

All applicants to our program are required to have completed a 3-year ACGME accredited postgraduate residency in Internal Medicine. It is required that you become board certified in Internal Medicine within the first year of our fellowship.

We welcome applications from non-U.S. Citizens as well as U.S. Citizens.
Non-U.S. citizens must have a J-1 Visa and a valid ECFMG certificate or be a permanent resident of the United States.  J-1 Visa applicants must provide proof that there is sufficient time left on their visa to fully complete our 3-year training program.

The following documents are required for our program, submitted through ERAS:

  • Complete ERAS Application, including CV and personal statement
  • USMLE or COMLEX transcript
  • Four letters of recommendation (including one from the Internal Medicine Program Director) 

 Our interviews this year will be conducted virtually and will be performed in September/October 2024.  We send out invitations for interviews by the end of August 2024.
