Culinary Medicine Healthy Teaching Kitchen Consult Service Pilot

Short term goals:

1. Determine how to best help patients learn culinary skills through a Culinary Medicine healthy teaching kitchen experience in primary care

2. Demonstrate financial and logistic feasibility of running and Culinary Medicine healthy teaching kitchen in primary care clinics

3. Preliminarily evaluate patient health-related outcomes in the initial participants

Long term goals:

1. Continually evaluate and optimize the nature of the Culinary Medicine healthy teaching kitchen and delivery method for effectiveness and cost

2. Imbed Culinary Medicine in all primary care across the University of Utah Health system
