What Are Clinical Trials?
Clinical trials are closely monitored studies of new interventions for cancer patients aimed at improving the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of cancer. Nearly all the cancer treatments used today began with a clinical trial.
The Division of Oncology in partnership with the Huntsman Cancer Institute, conducts clinical trials in the following areas:
