- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Eligibility is open to applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and research experiences.
- Be enrolled in a four-year college for Fall 2026, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Have completed their sophomore year before attending our GSRM program. Sophomore students are encouraged to apply.
- No previous research is required, but applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in genomics, bioinformatics, and precision medicine research.
- Have a strong interest in pursuing graduate school (PhD or MD/PhD).
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday for a 10-week period, beginning May 27 and ending July 31, 2026.
