B-Sincere: Community Services Navigation to Advance Health Equity in Breast Cancer Screening

Evaluation of community services navigation for women with abnormal results after routine screening mammogram

B-Sincere: Community Services Navigation to Advance Health Equity in Breast Cancer Screening

The overarching goal of this project is to address health inequities in breast cancer screening follow-up among underserved women. We will test whether a community services navigation intervention for women with abnormal results after routine screening mammogram improves follow-up. Outreach to underserved women, who represent a large proportion of late-stage and higher mortality breast cancers, will result in improved follow-up to breast screening leading to improved breast cancer outcomes and decreased health disparities.
