Workforce Engagement Committee

The Workforce Engagement Committee seeks to cultivate an environment that promotes collaboration, empathy and respect. We aspire to create a dynamic learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and personal growth, where individuals thrive and collectively achieve greatness. Our committee is open to all members of the PHS community, and aims to have representation from students, postdoctoral scholars, staff, and faculty.

  • Faculty Development - part of Office for Faculty, includes leadership training, tools for success, Utah Coaching & Advancement Network, and more.
  • Faculty Handbook - links to policies and procedures that apply to faculty appointments at the University of Utah, as well as additional information about the University, its campus, and surroundings that may be of interest to the faculty.
  • Women in Health, Medicine, & Science (WiHMS) - endeavors to promote faculty development, mentoring, and advocacy of women faculty in all stages of their careers to ultimately create a climate that fosters the success of all faculty, regardless of gender.
