VA Consults
The George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center provides care for veterans that reside throughout the intermountain west. The fellow and the attending physician work together running a closed medical ICU team consisting of medical residents, interns, and medical students. The fellow provides inpatient pulmonary consultations, interprets pulmonary function tests, and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
