Donna Eldridge, MSW
Title: Program Manager/ Tribal OutreachDonna is a member of the Navajo Nation and grew up on the Navajo reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico. In 2012, she earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. In 2013, she received her Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. Donna is interested in championing social justice issues and advocating for underrepresented populations. As a Program Manager in the Office of Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion she works on educational outreach for K-12 students. Her programs are designed to stimulate student learning, create an interest in science, and expose students to medicine and related fields to ultimately create a gateway to higher education.
Rawad Farhat, MD, MSPH
Title: Program Manager/ Anti Racism Task ForceRawad is originally from Lebanon, received her Medical Degree from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. She completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at the American University of Beirut. She will graduate with a Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of Utah in Summer 2021.Dr. Rawad worked as a case investigator for the University of Utah Department of Family Preventive Medicine and the Utah Department of Health, providing health care education and implementing health assessment protocols at local healthcare facilitators. She's also worked with the Utah Department of Health, conducting needs assessments on health equity resources, coordinating implicit bias sessions, and creating communication plans. As a Program Manager, her role is to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment at the University of Utah School of Medicine and manage to implement recommendations from the Anti-Racism Commission and other inclusion programs and diversity initiatives.
Chris Harris, MBA
Title: Program Manager/ Community OutreachChris grew up in Aurora, Colorado. In 2014, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Park University and in 2016, received his Master Degree in Business Administration from Webster University. Growing up in a diverse community and experiencing the disparities among social classes and ethnic groups first hand Chris is deeply committed to social justice issues and advocating for underrepresented populations. As a Program Manager his time is spent in the community working on and promoting educational outreach programs for K-12 students advocating for and encouraging higher education. His programs are designed to stimulate student learning, create an interest in science, and expose students to medicine and related fields while providing a mentored pathway to higher education.
