Jarl and Pamela Mohn Cardiothoracic Surgery Education Scholarship
The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is pleased to sponsor the Jarl and Pamela Mohn Cardiothoracic Surgery Education Scholarship.
Jarl and Pamela became uniquely aware of the great work in the University of Utah Hospital a few years ago. As art collectors and Jarl being the former CEO of NPR, the Mohns focus much of their family’s philanthropy on public radio and arts organizations. However, they were so moved by the wonderful care provide by Hospital staff that they wanted to support their work.
The Mohn Scholarship is intended for the continued medical education of cardiothoracic surgery non-physician care providers at the University of Utah.
Staff who have worked at the University of Utah for at least one year are eligible for this award on an annual basis - including nurses, medical assistants, therapists, and other assistants.
