University of Utah Health Division of Vascular Surgery earns three stars in Vascular Quality Initiative Registry Participation Award Program

Delegates from member states from around the world converged upon Geneva, Switzerland to mark the 72nd World Health Assembly (WHA), the parliamentary body that governs the World Health Organization (WHO). The University of Utah Center for Global Surgery was privileged (as one voice among many) to represent the advocacy community arranged quietly throughout the assembly advocating for the prioritization of surgery as an essential health service and an indispensible component of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

University of Utah’s delegate to the G4 Alliance, Jonathan Nellermoe, was honored to have the opportunity to draft a statement for the subcommittee floor as an organization in affiliation with a non-state actor with official relations to the WHO. The statement text was read 5/27 on behalf of the "International Federation of Surgical Colleges".
